Richard Convertito, the first prepared food vendor at the Boulder County Farmers’ Market, speaks about his business, Amaizing Corn Tamales. He describes the process involved in preparing and selling the tamales, the number of markets he and his team serve, and the types of tamales he makes. He then describes his experiences with the Boulder County Farmers’ Market including his two terms on the market board and decisions of the board with which he was involved, particularly the addition of the Wednesday market. Mr. Convertito also gives his opinions about the reasons for the success of the Boulder County Farmers’ Market and describes a new goal of integrating farmers’ produce into the prepared food being sold by vendors.
