Description:

Mariana Iurcovich, a psychologist, emigrated from Argentina after meeting her husband, an Argentinian who teaches applied mathematics at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She worked for many years doing international work in the area of HIV and AIDS education; at the time of this interview she was making a transition back to private practice. She describes Argentinian geography and culture and contrasts Buenos Aires with Boulder, a city she now happily considers home.
