Description:

Victor Mestas, an accomplished keyboard musician, moved to Boulder with his wife and two children in 2012 from Venezuela. He describes the geography and culture of Venezuela, explains that they moved to the United States due to deteriorating conditions in Venezuela and to provide opportunities for their children, and talks about how much he loves living in Boulder and why. As a musician, he plays with many bands in the Boulder area, including Brazilian, salsa, and jazz bands, and his relationships with other musicians have made it easy for him to get to know people here.
